Privacy Policy for Apptoken

Fokusbloks Oy ("we," "us," or "our") operates apptoken.co, the Apptoken shop, and the Apptoken iOS app.

The current Apptoken iOS app is free. It does not require an account, does not include subscriptions, and does not include in-app purchases. App profiles, restrictions, NFC and QR identifiers, schedules, timers, and session history are stored locally on your device or in the local app group container used by the app and its extensions.

Website and shop

If you use our website, place an order, contact support, or join a waitlist, we may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, order details, and support messages.

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

The website may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referral source, and approximate location derived from network information. We use this for site security, analytics, troubleshooting, and improving the website.

iOS app

The app does not collect personal account information. There is no sign-in flow, account registration, email collection, app subscription, or app purchase flow in the current free version.

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• Blocking profiles and selected app or website restrictions
• NFC tag identifiers or QR code identifiers that you choose to use
• Timer, schedule, and blocking state needed for app behavior
• Local session history used for in-app insights

We use website and shop information to:

• Process orders, payments, refunds, and shipping
• Provide support and respond to inquiries
• Maintain website security and prevent fraud
• Understand website performance and improve the site
• Send transactional emails and optional marketing emails where permitted

Locally stored app data is used only to provide app functionality:

• Configure and apply restrictions using Apple Screen Time APIs
• Start, pause, and stop blocking sessions
• Support NFC and QR unlock flows
• Show local activity and session history inside the app
• Keep widgets and background extensions in sync with the main app

The iOS app may request these system permissions:

• Family Controls / Screen Time: required to restrict selected apps and websites.
• NFC: required to scan physical tokens.
• Camera: required to scan QR unlock codes.
• Notifications / background features: used for timer, schedule, and session reliability.

Family Controls data is used only for restrictions you explicitly configure. The app does not share your app usage data with third parties.

The website may use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Vercel Analytics, to understand traffic, measure conversions, improve pages, and operate marketing campaigns. Where required, these tools are controlled through cookie consent.

The current iOS app does not use third-party app analytics, advertising SDKs, or behavioral tracking.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share website, shop, or support information with service providers that help us operate the business, such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, email tools, shipping partners, and fraud-prevention services.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets.

Order, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and support records may be kept as long as needed for business, legal, accounting, and compliance purposes.

App data remains on your device until you delete it, reset app data, or uninstall the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data according to iOS behavior.

• You can revoke app permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.
• You can manage website cookies through the cookie banner or browser settings.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.
• You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal data we hold about you.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Apptoken is designed for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last Updated" date above.
